There will be no refunds once the first scheduled game or scrimmage occurs. Full refunds are provided only if the participant has not been issued a uniform and has not participated in any team tryout, practices or games. Partial refunds may be provided before the start of the 1st game or scrimmage which would subtract $20.00 for insurance fees and the cost of any uniforms and equipment that was distributed to the participant. No refunds will be provided unless all Fox-Rok uniforms and equipment are returned.
Refund Procedure
In order to request a refund the coach or sport director must be notified. The sports director will determine the amount, if any, to be refunded and will give a copy of the registration card to the treasurer of Fox-Rok who will issue a refund in accordance with the above policy. Registrants may appeal the refund decision of the sports director to the Board of Directors of Fox-Rok Athletic Association.
Bounced Checks
Bounced checks will be re-deposited. If the check bounces a second time the issuer will be contacted and required to pay the treasurer of Fox-Rok in cash including a $10.00 bounced check fee. Fox-Rok reserves the right to increase the bounced check fee to cover all banking costs that may be incurred. Non-payment can result in denying participation in any and/or all the Fox-Rok programs.
Team Placement
All Fox-Rok teams will be AGE-PURE. The participants will be assigned to teams that are within their age group only. No requests will be considered for playing-up in age. Due to the large amount of Fox-Rok participants it has become necessary to stop placing participants on teams with friends, relatives or specific coaches. Only siblings in the same age group will be placed on the same team if requested and appropriate.
Travel Team Tryouts
The coaches and sports directors have the final say in selecting teams subject to tryouts.
Code of Conduct
All Fox-Rok coaches, players and spectators are expected to behave in a respectable manner at all times during their participation in our programs. Foul language and abusive conduct will not be tolerated and the offending party is subject to ejection from participating in the Fox-Rok Athletic Association. No refunds are provided if the participant is ejected for the above reasons. Spectators who violate this conduct policy will be requested to stay away from games and practices. If the spectator does not comply with this request then their child or player may be subject to ejection from the Fox-Rok Athletic Association.
Coaching
If you want to continue coaching you must attend at least two (2) general meetings per calendar year.
Nominations and Elections
Every two (2) years, nominations for office are held in August and elections are held in September during the monthly general meetings. In order to exercise your vote, you must attend at least four (4) general meetings prior to the September election meeting within that calendar year. Please note that all candidates for office must also have attended at least four (4) meetings prior to the September election. Our next elections will be held in 2010.
Listed below is a sample letter that all coaches are required to sign prior to the start of each sport season:
