Winter Basketball Team Breakdown
For Boys and Girls, Ages 5 through 16
This season runs from December through March

5, 6 & 7 year olds - Teams are formed with a mix of both boys and girls. They play Saturday mornings at Fox Chase School. – First game generally starts at 10:00 AM.
8 year old boys – We will hold tryouts for a 8 year old travel team. Those who do not make this team will play in the Fox-Rok, “Home League.” The boys “Home League” plays on Friday evenings at the Fox Chase Recreation Center. This is a combined league that includes 9 year olds. Fist game generally starts at 6:00 PM.
9 year old boys – We will hold tryouts for a 9 year old travel team. Those who do not make this team will play in the Fox-Rok, “Home League.” The “Home League” plays on Friday evenings at the Fox Chase Recreation Center. This is a combined league that includes 8 year olds. Fist game generally starts at 6:00 PM.
8 & up year old girls – Girls “Lincoln League” play on Saturday afternoon at Lincoln High School. First game generally starts at 9:00 AM.
At 10 years of age and older, everyone plays on a “travel team.”
All ages 10 through 16 play age pure. There are separate boys and girls teams. Boys who don’t make the “A” travel team play in the “Peanut Travel League.” Girls who don’t make the “A” travel team play in the Lincoln League. The Peanut League groups multiple ages.
Age is determined as follows: December 1 is the "cut-off" date for all players. This means that whatever age you are before this date, is the age group you will play in.
Winter basketball season runs from December through March.
Summer season runs from July through August.

Basketball Photograph Day!
On Wednesday, January 20, 2010 basketball photographs will be taken starting at 6:00 PM. Individual and team photographs will be taken in the gym at the Fox Chase Recreation Center. All teams who have been sponsored must have their photograph taken. All coaches, please wear your coaching shirts for the team photographs! Check back later for a downloadable schedule.
